Hi, I'm Nancy!

I’m a passionate Doberman breeder in Central California.

I was a teenager when I was first introduced to the Doberman. In 2014, I was injured and I realized I need a loyal companion. Getting a Doberman was my first choice.

She brought so much joy to my life I wanted to bring that love to other families. So I learned everything I could about the Doberman breed – of course I’m still learning – and what it would take to start my breeding program. So in 2018 I found my first clear female and in 2020 I got my male.

It hasn’t been an easy road, but oh so worth it. Health, temperament, longevity, and conformation are my main focus. I stand behind every puppy that I place in well-vetted Forever Homes.

My dogs live in my home, puppies are born in my foyer that is transformed into a safe clean whelping area.

From the moment I spoke with Nancy LaFarriere, owner of Von HillsBorn Dobermans, it was evident that her breeding program had everything I was looking for in my search for an AKC registered Doberman Pinscher pup. Prior to meeting Nancy, I had recently gone through extreme heartbreak from losing my 11 year old Doberman to Hemangiosarcoma. Nancy was empathetic to my loss and had one pup unspoken for so we made arrangements to meet him. I had already chosen a name and upon meeting “Gus” it was love at first sight and we immediately bonded. Gus is the most loving, kind-natured, playful Doberman Pinscher I have ever met. He is extremely handsome, loyal and distinguished and extremely sweet to anyone, whether it be humans, other dogs or even his own pet chicken (whom he dearly loves). He is incredibly intelligent, learning to sit on command and climb stairs the day after we brought him home at only 8 weeks old. He continues to accelerate at all his training.

Gus is my heart and forever best friend. He stares deep into my eyes with adoring love I have never seen or felt before from a dog. Gus is my adventure partner and soul-pup! Having Gus in my world for the past year and a half has been the most enjoyable time of my life with a canine companion!
